About.

Liverpool District Men’s Shed is happily located in the heart  of the south-west Sydney region.   Our Shed has developed from the actions of a number of local individuals  wanting a Mens Shed in the Liverpool local government area.  We are partially supported  by Liverpool City Council and cater to the residents of Liverpool area and surrounding districts.   If you live outside of these areas, and like what you see here, you are still eligible to join out crew.  Feel very free to contact us.  We would love to hear from you.

We are looking to develop a dynamic and diverse group of ‘shedders’ who are committed to the support of Mens Sheds in general,  willing to put in some of their spare time and energy to support the local community,  and be involved in the development of an engaged and friendly workshop environment.

If you have a skill-set that is useful, we want to talk to you about putting them to good use.  If you want to learn some skills, we want to talk to you about how you can get them at Liverpool District  Mens Shed.

  1. To whom It May Concern,

I am the Heritage Services Coordinator for Liverpool City Library and Museum.

I am writing to enquire if it might be possible for any of the men at the shed ( if they were interested and able) to undertake some short workshops at our Liverpool museum – preferably on a saturday – re. woodwork, or furniture restoration, anything you think people would be interested in .

I could pay a fee for this if interested.
